Winter Solstice Celebration

Immerse yourself in a glorious sound bath and slow yoga practice to honour the depth or our winter and celebrate the slow return to light.
This year I am collaborating with Susannah Bradley to bring you an immersive experience in sound and movement.
Allow your body to melt into deeply restorative poses whilst the healing sounds from singing bowls, chimes, gongs and drums wash over you. The therapeutic effect of sound and music is well documented and harmonises beautifully with slow, grounding, earthy yoga postures.
You will be led through a series of Yin and Restorative Yoga postures designed to soothe your nervous system and create deep relaxation; once the sound bath stills you’ll move seamlessly into a Winter Solstice Yoga Nidra meditation. A practice that offers you deep rest and rejuvenation and a space for you to connect inwardly.
The Winter Solstice is steeped in ritual and history. As we move towards the shortest day and longest night we will pause to reflect on the year we have had. It's a perfect opportunity to give thanks for all that is good in your life and review what you may want to let go as we welcome in the forthcoming light and set intentions for 2025
We'll finish in community, sharing mulled wine, festive cake and friendship.

Workshops
Beginners Yoga Workshop

If you want to learn to practice yoga or deepen your knowledge and build on your skills then this workshop is for You.
If you want to feel more confident in your yoga practice this workshop is also for You.
In just 3 hours you will learn:
* Fundamental Yoga Postures
* What is means to have good alignment in a posture
* Two breath techniques
* Why it is so important to breathe well and the benefits you experience
* Learn common yoga bandhas and Mudras used in regular yoga practice
* How to relax, not always as simple as it may sound
* Experience a simple meditation that you can repeat at home
By the end of the course you will feel confident and well informed. And if you are new to yoga you will feel ready to join a regular yoga class.

Menopause Yoga Workshop

Our journey through menopause can be turbulent and exhausting. Having tools and techniques to help manage symptoms can be really helpful.
Being in a safe space with other women where you can listen and be heard, ask questions, and pick up helpful tips can be deeply reassuring.
As our bodies move into the menopause we experience massive change as our homone levels fluctuate and drop. A simple yoga practice can give relief to many of the symptoms helping to relieve hot flushes, assist with alleviating anxiety, fatigue and brain fog,
Certain yogic breath practices are so helpful that once learned can form part of your Menopause Management Tool Kit.
All of this and more is included within this highly informative workshop. You will leave feeling better informed and with a clearer idea of the actions you might want to take to look after yourself.
